Public Transport Schiphol/Centraal/Canal Hotel

When you have arrived safely at Amsterdam Schiphol airport, there are several ways to get to our hotel, which is situated on Weteringschans 253 in central Amsterdam.

By taxi:
The taxi stand is situated at the front of the airport. Please be careful only to get into the taxi's from this taxi stand, and not to get into any taxi of which the taxi driver has approached you. These taxi's are more expensive!

We work together with the Amsterdam Taxi Company, AMS, and have a set price from our hotel to Schiphol Airport of €45. Not only is this a reliable and trustworthy company, but they also offer the extra touch of sustainability by the use of electric cars!

By train:
A train departs from Schiphol Airport approximately every 10 minutes and it will take about 10 to 15 minutes to arrive at Amsterdam Central station.
From here, you can either take the 4 or 25 tram. The stop nearest to our hotel is called Frederiksplein. From here it is a 1 minute walk to the hotel.

When you would like to go back to Amsterdam Central station, you can also take the same trams, 4 and 25. At Amsterdam Central station you can take the train to the airport, they go every 10 minutes from Amsterdam Central station.

You can also go back to the airport by taxi, it costs 45 euro from our hotel.

Public Transport
You can also make use of the Tram and Bus lines in the city! They are easy to understand but usually take just as long, if not longer, than walking to your destination. You can purchase tickets in the trams or busses by credit card. Keep in mind that the public transportation does not go as frequent in the weekends as it does in during the week.
